Truwood are pleased to announce we have installed an on site defibrillator that is available to any member of the public during working hours. Seven of our employees have received recognised defibrillator training.

This evening The Fit Out Awards 2018 take place in the National Convention Centre. Truwood have been shortlisted along with eight other companies for subcontractor of the year. Best of luck to all who have been recognised and nominated for their outstanding work throughout the past twelve months.
During the course of this week Truwood will be scheduling a number of tool box talks to demonstrate correct safety procedures while raising awareness of the required health and safety standards in the workplace
This morning our Hell & Back team presented a cheque for over €4,000 to Barry Cuddy from Le Chéile Autism Unit. These funds will assist with the development of a permanent building for Le Chéile allowing them to cater for the existing demands on the current classroom. Thanks to all who have contributed over the past couple of months, your generosity has been greatly appreciated.
On the 29th of September 2018 a group of colleagues from Truwood will participate in the gruelling Hell & Back challenge in Co. Wicklow. The purpose of the trip is to raise much needed funds for a local organisation.
Le Chéile Autism Unit at Edenmore N.S. opened in September 2016 and at present there is one class which is already full. Le Chéile caters for the learning needs of students with ASD from the North Monaghan area. The class is currently accommodated in a prefabricated unit on a temporary basis, but it is hoped that plans for a permanent building along with a second class will be secured in the near future.
